240 dogs sterilised. Thousands of future strays prevented.
This Nelson Mandela Day, we're celebrating a CSI initiative that's close to our hearts: Synercore CARES proudly sponsored Oudtshoorn Dogs in Need (ODIN)'s very first "Spay-a-thon". The community of De Rust, Dysselsdorp and Oudsthoorn showed up in every way imaginable walking their pets to the vet, arriving by ODIN's shuttles, carrying dogs in wheelbarrows, and even bringing cats tucked safely under their jackets. Their commitment make 240 sterilisations possible, easing the burden on female dogs who would otherwise face six to eight litters, and lightening the load on welfare organisations working tirelessly to protect these animals.
Mandela Day reminds us that everyone has the power to change the world for the better, in ways big and small. For us, that means investing in the causes our communities care about most, and this year, we're proud to have helped ODIN take real, lasting action against animal overpopulation and suffering.Thank you to the ODIN team for your dedication, and to every pet owner who made the journey to be part of this.
